Listener

Jerry believes effective leadership begins with listening. He takes the time to understand people's concerns, build relationships, and represent the priorities of the communities he serves.

Service

Jerry has dedicated his life to public service, putting people ahead of politics and working with others to solve problems, strengthen communities, and improve the lives of those he represents.

Hi, I'm Jerry Roche.

I'm running for State Representative in House District 45 to provide strong, accessible leadership for Brookline, Hollis, Greenville, and Mason.

After nearly four decades in law enforcement, I retired as Deputy Police Chief of the Billerica Police Department, where I led the detective bureau and worked alongside police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders to help keep communities safe and healthy. I was selected for and completed the FBI National Academy's Leadership Program and am honored to have received multiple awards for bravery and courage.

My commitment to public service didn't end with retirement. In 2025, I was elected to the Brookline Selectboard, where I work with residents and fellow town officials to address local priorities. I also serve as liaison to several town committees, including the Planning Board. That experience has given me a firsthand understanding of how decisions made in Concord affect our communities and has prepared me to be the strong link between local government and the State House that our towns need and deserve.

Our communities deserve a representative who listens first, works with local leaders, and puts the people of Brookline, Hollis, Greenville, and Mason ahead of party politics. My responsibility is to you, the people I will represent.

When elected, I'll listen carefully, communicate openly, and represent all four towns. I'll also hold regular office hours in each community, so residents always have a direct voice in state government.

I'm a proud graduate of UMass Lowell, an animal lover, and someone my friends call "The Listener." I believe the first responsibility of a representative is to listen. Before you can represent people, you have to hear them.

I'm not running to tell you what to think. I'm running to make sure your voice is heard in Concord.

Help Jerry reach every voter

Campaigns are powered by neighbors, not special interests. Your contribution helps pay for yard signs, mailers, digital outreach, literature, and the conversations that connect Jerry with voters throughout Brookline, Hollis, Greenville, and Mason.

Every contribution—large or small—helps build a stronger campaign.
