Hi, I'm Steve Spratt
I'm running to represent New Hampshire House District 36, serving Brookline, Mason, and Greenville.
I've spent much of my life serving New Hampshire communities as an elected official, educator, and community leader. As a former State Representative, School Board leader, and community volunteer, I've worked to solve problems, build consensus, and protect the interests of local taxpayers.
In the New Hampshire House, I served on the Finance and Commerce Committees and chaired the Hillsborough County Delegation, where I worked on responsible budgeting and policies that strengthen our communities. I was honored to be named Hillsborough County Legislator of the Year in recognition of that work.
Public education has always been one of my highest priorities. As a former Vice Chairman of the Mascenic Regional School Board and current School Board Chair, I've focused on providing every student with the opportunity to succeed while ensuring taxpayers receive the greatest value for every education dollar. I also serve on the UNH Cooperative Extension County and State oversight boards, supporting programs that strengthen our communities, agriculture, conservation, and youth development.
My professional background in marketing, communications, and strategic planning has taught me that the best solutions come from listening carefully, bringing people together, and making thoughtful decisions based on facts, not politics.
I'm running because our communities deserve experienced leadership that listens, protects local control, supports strong public schools, and manages taxpayer dollars responsibly.
Experience matters. Listening matters. Putting our communities first matters.

What challenges should Concord be solving?
Do you want representatives who work together to get things done?
The best ideas don't belong to one political party. They come from neighbors working together.
I'd love to hear what's on your mind.
